I’m Kim Short, the founder of What Led Her Here. I help women use the power of their authentic voice to make an impact in business and life.

I'm all about embracing vulnerability, so let's dive in...a window into what led ME here.

My difficult childhood left me feeling unworthy of good things and led me to act like a chameleon, always changing who I was in an attempt to suit what I thought others might like. I craved acceptance, not realizing at the time that I had put up a wall that prohibited people from connecting with me.

Becoming a mom to my three daughters has been my greatest gift. While teaching them to be confident, strong, kick-ass people, I myself have learned the lessons I lacked as a kid and have evolved (and am still evolving) into my most authentic self. I guess you could say we’ve raised each other in a way.

I have turned my passion for empowering girls and women into my life's mission. I love helping women craft and share their stories, realize their awesome value, build confidence and create deep personal connections. This, I’ve learned, is the key to living our most fulfilled and joyful lives!
